This post is all about how to spend 48 hours in Biloxi Mississippi.
Are you planning a trip to Biloxi Mississippi soon? Are you wanting to know what all you can do there?
In case you haven’t already guessed based on the featured images, Biloxi has casinos.
Throughout the weekend itinerary that I am about to give you, I tell you to go to almost all the different casinos.
This is a trip that you definitely need to save up for. I recommend you expect to pay at least $300 a night for the room, food, and fun.
Since this itinerary is a 3 day, 2-night vacation, you should have at least $900 saved.
The total cost of this vacation will be more expensive if you have multiple people.
Obviously, you can pick and choose what you want to do from this itinerary if you don’t want to do everything.
But if you want to do almost everything, the itinerary that I have planned out for you would be my recommendation.

The Best Biloxi Mississippi Weekend Itinerary
FRIDAY NIGHT
Arrive at the Beau Rivage Resort Casino
I like going to the Beau Rivage Resort Casino because every holiday or season, they decorate the Lobby to match. So every time I go back, it’s different.
My favorite time to visit is Christmas because they have poinsettias everywhere and the cotton pillow fluff snow imitation. The ceiling also has lots of giant hanging ornaments.
They place a giant Christmas tree between the buffet and the Terrace Cafe (a restaurant inside the resort) too. It’s so beautiful.
Showing up to this casino during the night in winter really sets the mood for the holiday spirit because the decorative lights are everything.
Parking
Whenever I go, I always park on level 3 because that’s all I ever know. I also feel as if it’s a neglected area and is easy to find a parking spot.
Most of the time people will think “it’s on a popular floor, let’s not waste our time looking because it’s probably full already.”
I have gotten very lucky thus far to have parking spots that are only a few feet away from the elevators or maybe only a row or two away from the elevators. But I also drive in circles at least 2 times before I find a spot.
If level 3 doesn’t work for you, there are plenty of other levels to choose from.
Check-In/ Settle down
We like to stay at the Beau Rivage hotel because it’s a big hotel, the rooms are spacious, and there is a lot to do in Beau Rivage as is.
There are restaurants, shopping stores, an arcade, and of course, a large casino.
Since I normally go with my family of 4, we only get the hotel rooms with two queen-sized beds.
The bathrooms have a shower and a bathtub so you get options of how you want to wash up and relax.
But don’t get too relaxed yet because the night doesn’t end here.
Dinner at Gia
Gia is deep in the back of the Beau Rivage Resort Casino next to Stalla, and the BR Prime.
I decided to list Gia as the place you should visit first because they serve sushi and you all should know by now how much I absolutely love sushi. It’s a very elegant restaurant.
The interior is a dimmed restaurant to set the evening mood very well.
You obviously don’t have to get sushi but that’s what I would go for.
If you look at the menu and decide it isn’t for you, check out Stalla.
I haven’t been to Stalla before but I’m sure the dining experience there will also be superb (because the other restaurants in Beau Rivage are also superb.)
Do NOT consider BR Prime for your first night. I have that planned for the next night.
Gamble at the Beau Rivage Casino
I’m pretty sure the Beau Rivage has the largest casino in the area based on what I have seen.
I think IP is the smallest. (It’s very cramped in there and I feel like you could only entertain maybe 30 people at a time.)
I haven’t actually explored the IP casino fully but that’s the impression I got.
By the time you finish dinner and gamble, it should only be about 7 or 8 pm.
I am assuming that you want to be asleep by midnight so you get a full 3-4 hours to gamble if you’re that type of gambler.
If one hour is enough for you to ensure you don’t lose too much money, then you’ll just have a more relaxing experience since you’ll get to bed at a decent time.
I currently do not gamble; however, my stepmom loves the slot machines and my dad loves the poker tables. So, you can try out one of those in the casino.
Back to the Hotel Room
I’m sure you’re very tired after your meal, walking around to explore, and all the gambling that you did.
I know people that gamble for hours into the night (ahem, my grandparents). Sometimes they go all the way to 2 am or even 4 am.
Hopefully, you aren’t one of those people because you need your sleep to get through the rest of the weekend.
You’ll get plenty of more opportunities to gamble throughout the weekend too so no need to crunch it all into your first night.
SATURDAY
Breakfast at The Roasted Bean
The roasted bean is a cafe located in the Beau Rivage Casino past the shops and by the balcony area.
They have breakfast meals such as muffins and croissants.
You can also go to The Roasted Bean for foods other than breakfast. They have desserts and coffee too.
The last time I went, I ordered a Mississippi mud pie and it was DELICIOUS. The fruit tarts are tasty too. My family and I mostly like to take slices of cheesecake to go.
The design, layout, and color scheme give a very cute and homey feel.
It was also built to be a half-open cafe. You’ll understand when you see it.
Margaritaville Escape Arcade
The Margaritaville Escape arcade is my favorite part of Biloxi Mississippi.
It’s a large arcade with lots of neon colors for decorations.
It’s not your average size arcade. When I say huge, it’s HUGE.
My brother and I’s favorite activities are the rubber duck claw machines (because all the rubber ducks are different characters), the crazy tower (where you have to stack 50 blocks to win 500 tickets), an imitation flappy bird game (that gets you 1000 tickets if you meet a certain number of pillars), and lots of other games but those are always our go-to games for the best and doable rewards.
We go enough to know how to play most of the games and how to win the big tickets.
The prize section is fairly sized too with many options from candy to board games to collectibles with autographs.
I would say the coolest part about the arcade is that they have a mini-sized bowling alley area that you can play using your game credits.
They also have a giant photo booth so that your entire family could be in the photos instead of only two people like in the traditional photo booths.
This arcade is a great place for the kids to enjoy, especially since they had to wait for you to finish your gambling in the casino. Even if you don’t have kids, you can still enjoy the arcade.
I’m in my early 20’s and I just admitted that the Margaritaville Escape arcade is my favorite part of Biloxi Mississippi.
Lunch at The Golden Nugget
The Golden Nugget has a handful of options for restaurants.
There are buffets, bars, and steakhouses.
Unfortunately, I have only experienced the buffet and it’s pretty decent. My parents love this buffet over the Beau Rivage buffet because The Golden Nugget buffet had king crab the last time we went.
I would say buffets in Biloxi are only worth it if you’ve got a big appetite.
If you want a more luxurious experience, go to a restaurant.
Casino at The Golden Nugget
Since you’re in The Golden Nugget anyway, you might as well try out their casino too.
You’ll then be able to compare it to the Beau Rivage casino to see which you like better.
Don’t spend too long here though. Only spend enough time to digest your food.
Dessert at The Golden Nugget
When you walk out of The Golden Nugget, you’ll most likely pass a little candy booth or shop.
They serve ice cream, milkshakes, chocolates, cookies, fudge, and other typical candies like gummy bears.
There are a variety of options and will most definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.
Not to mention, the bag that they put your little chocolates in is very cute. You’ll definitely know you just spoiled yourself.
Dinner BR Prime $$$
The Beginning
I used to think Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse was the fanciest place I had ever been to until I went to the BR Prime in Beau Rivage.
The interior of the restaurant is dimmed with candles on the white cloth-dressed table.
I have only been here at night so I don’t know if this makes the atmosphere seem darker than it really is.
There are booths and cushioned chairs too.
All of the servers are also dressed nicely in black bottoms and white button-ups. I’m sure there are more details regarding their attire but I can’t remember them all.
When we sat down, there were already filled glasses of water, empty wine glasses set on the table, and plates with nicely folded napkins.
If you’re not interested in drinking wine they will just take them away so that you have more space on the table.
If you don’t unfold your napkin before the server comes, they’ll unfold it for you and place it on your lap (unless that was only my server.)
After you’ve ordered your drinks and taken a look at the menu for a bit, they bring out a bread basket with different kinds of bread with soft butter.
The last time I went, there were four different kinds of bread: French bread, cheese bread, raisin bread, and one other one that I can’t remember.
I think some of the bread changes each time I go. The cheese bread and the raisin bread were always there though.
The Food
Now we get to the expensive part, the food.
The last time I went, there were 4 of us. We ordered the Tuna Tartare and Blue Crab Cake as our appetizers and the Grand Seafood Tower and Chilean Seabass as our entrees.
We each tried a little bit of everything.
You may be thinking that this sounds like a lot of food but we honestly thought we would need more food. The portion sizes are not that big.
We didn’t order more because of the prices.
If you have a big appetite, this is not the restaurant for you.
This is more of a restaurant to have an intentional dinner to taste all the flavors and grasp the overall experience.
You get about a cup of tuna tartare with some bread slices and about a cup of blue crab cake.
You get a decent portion of the Chilean sea bass, maybe 2-3 cups worth, and the Grand Seafood Tower had about 4 different kinds of seafood to choose from.
The Tower had oysters, shrimp, lobster, and crab. You get about 4-5 pieces of the raw oyster and cooked shrimp, 2 cooked lobster tails, and a bowl of prepared crab tossed in some kind of light sauce. Everything was served chilled.
I’m so sorry for my very lame descriptions.
I also did not take any pictures of the food because I didn’t want to be that person in such an expensive restaurant.
So I just tried to enjoy myself.
Honestly, having all that food was enough for me because trying a little bit of everything definitely filled me up.
dessert
Lastly, we ended the night with some Creme brulee; however, we took it to go because we were too full to eat anymore.
The creme brulee is a hit or miss honestly. One time I got it, it was delicious and perfect. The last time I got it, they didn’t bake it long enough and it was still runny.
It still tasted like creme brulee though so we got that going for us at least. (If you want tasty creme brulee, get some from the Beau Rivage Buffer *chef’s kiss*.)
Before we left and paid for our meal, they offered us complimentary salted character chocolate pieces. They’re pretty tasty. And $250 later we were out of there.
Alternative Dinner Options
If you’re not interested in spending the big bucks for dinner, then there are other restaurants such as Gia, Stalla, The Terrace Cafe, and the buffet.
I would recommend The Terrace Cafe because it isn’t as expensive as the BR Prime but it can give you a luxurious experience too.
I ordered the shepherd’s pie once and it was DELICIOUS. It has been a while though so I don’t know if it still tastes the same.
SUNDAY
Breakfast
I don’t know if you want to eat at the Roasted Bean again but that’s always a yummy option.
You could also eat breakfast at the buffet. They have your average breakfast foods like eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and sausages. There are more food options but I’m sure you get the idea.
You could also have breakfast at The Terrace Cafe, but don’t go here for breakfast if you already came here for dinner.
I have also noticed that every morning (at least on the weekends) they set up a little coffee booth in front of The Terrace Cafe or sometimes in front of the buffet.
So, if you’re a coffee lover but don’t want to walk into a restaurant or cafe, you can just head to this little booth for a quick coffee.
The Hard Rock Casino
This is the last casino I recommend that you visit because this one is one of the brighter and more colorful casinos.
I think this casino is a great way to end your vacation.
They have a very open area and the decorations are musician-themed which I think is a really cool way to design the interior.
I don’t know if you feel like gambling again but at least walk around and take a look. (I’m really killing your wallet aren’t I.)
Lunch at Hard Rock Cafe
For lunch, I recommend you go to the Hard Rock Cafe for their burgers. (Also, because this restaurant literally has the resort’s name in its name.)
I had a really good experience with them the last time I went.
To be fair, I was with a group of friends so that was very enjoyable and fun.
This restaurant is a very casual place where you can just enjoy your time with the people that you’re with and the atmosphere.
You can relax, listen to good music, and enjoy yummy food.
Alternative Lunch Options
The Hard Rock Resort and Casino has other food options too from steakhouses to oyster houses to buffets.
They do have a sweet shop for you to get dessert called the Sugar Factory but I have other plans for your dessert so don’t decide on getting dessert here yet.
Dessert at Bambú Desserts & Drinks
So this place isn’t exactly in Biloxi but it’s only about a 10-minute drive from Biloxi.
Bambú is such a fun little location. They are known for their Vietnamese-inspired Che (and other drinks) and their pandan waffles (at least to me).
If you don’t know what those are you should definitely check this location and try them out at least once.
Che is a Vietnamese dessert with a variety of coconut milk, jellies, beans, fruit, and boba.
The pandan waffle is a green waffle with pandan flavoring. I don’t really know how to describe it but it’s a slightly sweet flavored waffle. Not your average waffle from Waffle House.
Besides the Che and the waffles, they also offer other treats such as mochi balls, macarons, teas, and smoothies. They also have coffee for you coffee lovers.
The interior of the cafe is very modern and pleasing to look at. It is a very light and refreshing atmosphere that you won’t want to leave (unless there are a lot of people because it is relatively popular.)
My family and I always make the last stop here before we start heading home.
Go Home
After you’ve gotten your desserts and snacks, you can head home with a sweet treat ending.
Ending Note
This Biloxi Mississippi Itinerary definitely offers a lot to do.
I have been able to go to Biloxi many times because my parents go often enough to earn credits to get a discounted hotel room (sometimes free) and food credits for restaurants about every quarter (but not always.)
I don’t exactly know how the rewards or membership works but it pretty much sounds like if you go enough, you get little bonuses for coming back.
Biloxi is our getaway location whenever we want to take a break from home and have a little relaxing experience.
Unfortunately, I always have homework to do when I go on these Biloxi trips. I have to pack all my school essentials in addition to my clothes so it’s only half relaxing for me.
But I’m very thankful to be able to go at all. It’s a family “tradition” that I am glad to be a part of.
I hope you try out this Biloxi Mississippi Itinerary and find it as relaxing and fun as I do.
If you try it, let me know what you think!
Is there more in Biloxi that I need to try other than the casinos, hotels, and dining options they offer? I’d like to know.
Have a good day!

BONUS
When I was younger, my brother and I’s “tradition” every time we would come to Biloxi was to get Buffalo wings to-go from The Terrace Cafe, take it back to the hotel, and eat it in front of the tv while our parents were downstairs having their own fun in the casino. (Maybe you’ll want to try that too if you’re young and can’t gamble yet.)
I am not trying to say my parents are bad parents for leaving us behind. We actually loved it.
Our parents could have their own fun while we had the freedom and independence to do what we wanted in the hotel room (which was watching tv and eating buffalo wings.)
Don’t worry, I was in my teens at least before they started letting me stay in the hotel room alone with my brother.
